PM Narendra Modi, who is celebrating his 69th birthday today, is all set to visit Sardar Sarovar Dam ahead of a grand celebration at Kevadia Colony, in Gujarat. At the venue, Modi would participate in Namami Narmade Mahotsava event, to celebrate the occasion of the Sardar Sarovar Dam crossing its Full Reservoir Level (FRL) of 138.68 meters, which is the highest it has reached since its inaugural back in 2017.

Born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar (Gujarat), baron Modi is known to be one of the most prominent political personalities, hailing from a non-Congress background. Moreover, as a part of PM’s birthday celebration, the BJP is celebrating, September 14 to September 20, as ‘seva saptah’. The week-long program is directed towards generating awareness about cleanness.




On his arrival in Kevadia in Narmada district in Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video clip of the Statue of Unity. The tallest statue in the world has been built to pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and his efforts to unite India.

He then also visited Khalvani Eco-Tourism site in Kevadiya, Narmada district.

Born in a Gujarati Family, Modi used to help his father run a tea stall at a tender age. He later ran his own stall. Appointed as a Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001, Modi joined RSS when he was eight.

Ever since he was appointed as the PM of the largest democracy in the world, he had lead several campaigns including health care and social welfare programs.
