After two ‘national addressing’ in less than a week last month the Prime Minister would again be their tomorrow. Though this time it would not be an address as he would be sharing a ‘video message’ with the nation. This comes at a time when India is entering the 3rd stage of the COVID-19 pandemic.
PM Modi on Thursday tweeted, ” At 9 AM tomorrow morning, I’ll share a small video message with my fellow Indians“. Unlike the usual 8:00 PM address, this would come at 9:00 AM in the morning. It’s highly obvious that the PM would share something related to the pandemic with the citizens.
After the Tablighi Jamat incident, the number of cases in India has started to shoot up. India has now crossed the 2,000 mark in terms of the number of cases. The number of deaths is around 62 as per the latest reports. Around 174 people have recovered from the virus.
Recently the Union Ministry of Health also informed that community transmission of COVID-19 in India has started. This is a threatening thing as at this stage tracing the virus becomes difficult. Meanwhile, the PM also held video-conference with CMs of the states today.
