Rebel In Maharashtra’s Political Drama Ajit Pawar Sworn In Deputy CM For Second Time

The center of an overnight turn of events in Maharashtra’s politics last month NCP leader Ajit Pawar was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister (CM) of the state for the second time on Monday.

Pawar who switched loyalty on the fateful night of 22nd November was sworn in as the Deputy CM along with Devendra Fadnavis who was sworn in as CM on the early morning of 23rd November.

Ajit, who later returned to his parent party was put on hold to be sworn in as many went against him due to his action. On Monday the first cabinet expansion of Thackrey government was sure to have his name in the front. This was the 2nd time in less than 40 days that Ajit was sworn in as Deputy CM. Along with Ajit Aditya Thackrey was also sworn in as minister on Monday.

Following a great political drama that unfolded posts the announcement of assembly results on 24th October Uddhav Thackrey was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on 28th November.
