Reliance JioBook Laptop Available Now

TelecomTalk got their hands on Reliance’s newly launched JioBook laptop. They give users the first glance of this in-budget laptop. It was blue, with a lightweight and slim design having an 11.6-inch HD display. Branding was done at the bottom panel of the display with the name JioBook. It’s all made of ABS plastic with a medium-sized logo of ‘Jio’ written on the top of the laptop.

JioBook is packed with a powerhouse Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor chipset having Adreno 610 GPU. Being loaded with a custom-developed Jio OS it comes with pre-installed applications, for example- Cloud PC and Microsoft Ad browser. This laptop has an edge over other devices of this range with 2GB LPDDR4x RAM along with 32GB eMMC storage which can later be expanded. Moreover, if a customer wants a memory increase then he or she can add an external SD Card. As this laptop comes with Adreno 610 it can be used for moderate gaming purposes.

With an 11.6-inch HD display, it has a resolution of 1366×768 along with an HD Cam for video callings located at the top centre edge of the screen. In terms of battery power, it features a 55.1-60 AH battery, which can be said to have a power back of 8 hours on a single charge. Sound quality is going to be awesome in the JioBook, it has dual speakers with dual integrated mics. On the other hand for strong connectivity, it has a USB-A version 3.0 port, HDMI port, USB-A version 2.0 port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth version 5.2. And if you are worried about the weight then, the Jio Qualcomm Netbook is only 1.12 KG heavy. As for the security features it has pin code or password settings but with no fingerprint sensor.

So far, the JioBook is listed on GeM, a government online market site, as the Jio Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 11.5 Inch Notebook (JioOS), to be sold at ₹19,500. The official rate is not disclosed by the company yet. So, when the laptop will be available for retail sale we can expect a price change with no modifications to its specs.
