Ok!! I’m late to the party and by now you people must have already bombarded your social feeds with posts reading “OMG!! Sachin is playing”, “Can I BE more excited?” And whatnot. But that wouldn’t refrain me from writing this one down for you.
After five and a half years of his retirement, GOAT Sachin Tendulkar was again on the field but this time for a greater cause. The veteran, and several other legendary players, played at the Bushfire Cricket Bash for a charity match.
And guess what? The 46-year-old hit a four in the first ball he faced. Yeah!! Yeah!! though it was kinda miss-field, but still a four. Australia’s 2019 Women’s Cricketer of the Year, Ellyse Perry bowled the bowl to Sachin who had earlier challenged Sachin to play an over against her.
Sachin in a reply to the same had agreed to play the match and it must have been a fun interaction for both of them.

Apart from Sachin Tendulkar, cricketers like Ricky Ponting, Brian Lara, Yuvraj Singh, Wasim Akram, and Adam Gilchrist were a part of this 10-over side charity match between the teams, Ponting XI and Gilchrist XI.
