Akshay Kumar’s most awaited movie Samrat Prithviraj has finally launched on silver screens after so many delays, of course, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the trailer launch movie is creating headlines one after another, as its stunning visuals and amazing cast members were exciting to fans. Let us take a look at the advanced booking figures for this historical action drama.
The movie is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and also stars Manushi Chillar who is making her Hindi film debut, “Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar.” This historical action film based on Prithviraj Raso, tells about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, who was the fearless Rajput King from the Chahamana dynasty.
Advance Booking Figures In Major Cities Of Samrat Prithviraj:
In this city the craze for Samrat Prithviraj is quite low, there is only 5 per cent of show bookings for the day.
National Capital is showing a good start for Akshay’s movie showing 20 per cent bookings of the shows. The movie may pick up the pace later.
Booking in this city is 15 per cent for the shows even though its release date is clashing with two major south movies Vikram and Major.
This major city is showing excellent response to the movie with 30 per cent of shows being booked in advance.
Currently, there is only 5 per cent of the shows that are booked, and figures are still not cleared, though there are many shows in Pune in line.
Chennai has shown the best response out of them all with the show being booked 60 per cent. Other shows are also filling faster.
Kolkata, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad
Till now these cities are showing any devotion towards the movie, we are expecting a rise in booking on Saturday and Sunday.

Akshay Starrer Banned In Kuwait and Oman
While Akshay Kumar starrer is showing an excellent response from the fans in India, the movie will not be released in Kuwait and Oman. It was mentioned in a tweet posted by trade analyst Girish Johar, that the movie is banned by the Governments of both Nations.
The tweet says, “In a development, Govt of Kuwait & Oman have banned #SamratPrithviraj … they will not be released there! @akshaykumar @SonuSood @duttsanjay @ManushiChhillar @yrf #DrChandraprakashDwivedi.”
One day before the release Akshay Kumar shared a note that said, “The entire team of Samrat Prithviraj, a film that gloriously celebrates the life of one of India’s bravest kings Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, has taken four years to create a visual spectacle that we are all extremely proud of. Since it’s an authentic historical event there are many facets of Samrat’s life that are lesser-known to the people of our country, especially the youth. This is our sincere request to everyone watching the film from tomorrow, to not give out spoilers that reveal several aspects of our film that are designed to be awe-inspiring.”
