From now on SBI customers or users will not have to fear Sundays or Holidays, now the bank will provide services on off days also. India’s biggest public sector bank has launched two toll-free numbers for its customers to help them avail banking services even on holidays. There is more than one benefit of this new facility, as the account holders will not have to reach the branches for every minute banking task.
SBI Introduced Toll-Free Numbers For Banking On Holidays
1800 1234 and 1800 2100 are the two toll-free numbers which SBI has launched for its 44 Cr customers to provide a seamless banking experience. On June 26, by posting a tweet the Bank notified its customers about the services, the caption says, “Say goodbye to all your banking worries! Call SBI Contact Centre toll-free at 1800 1234 OR 1800 2100.” As per the norms, users can call and avail of banking services at any time from anywhere as they feel comfortable. The major benefits of these services which the customers will get are a seamless banking experience on off days, no need to visit branches and relief to those who are not able to use Internet banking or mobile banking services.

There are a bunch of banking facilities that SBI customers can get through these toll-free numbers, as they are available 24*7 even on Sundays and holidays.
By calling 1800 1234 and 1800 2100 numbers customers can:
- Get their current account balance.
- Check the last five transactions
- Know the status of ATM card blocking and new card dispatching status.
- Get the status of the dispatch cheque book
- Request a new ATM card.
- Even get your DS details and Deposit interest rate through email services.

Toll-free numbers are accessible from all landlines and mobile phones in the country,” it says. “SBI now provides your Account Balance and Transaction details over the phone round the clock. Information on deposits & loan schemes and services also available,” says the official website.
