SBI, Netflix & Others Join The Pakistan-Originated ‘Pawri Ho Rhi Hai’ Meme Trend

If you have not been living under a rock, you must be aware of the ongoing ‘Pawri ho rhi hai’ meme trend, that originated in Pakistan.

However, if you don’t know about it, then here is a glimpse. The trend started after a Pakistani influencer named Dananeer Mobeen posted a hilarious video. In a 15 second video, Mobeen can be seen vacationing in a hilly location where she can be heard saying “Ye humari car hai aur yeh hum hai aur ye humari pawri ho rahi hai”.

For those who didn’t get it, all she wanted to say was ‘Party ho rahi hai’. She, honestly, with her fake accent, was trying to mock the class of elite, rich Pakistanis who have a British/American accent for no reason and refuse to acknowledge their mother-tongue.

As the video went viral, a lot of people and even brand came forward with hilarious memes to join the trend. Have a look:

Apki Pawri kaha ho rhi hai?
