In the meeting, it was also decided that the schools will follow the strict guidance of the COVID-19 rules. Students of classes 5 and 8 can visit the school in case of any doubt about their syllabus.

Apart from students and teachers, research scholars can also attend universities. However, the date has not been decided yet by the authorities.

As per the ICMR Director General Balram Bhargava’s statement, reopening schools at the primary level is a wise decision as he believes that children can handle viral infection much better than adults.

Jairam Thakur also decided to open sub-divisional offices (Civil) at Nirmand in Kullu district, Jubbal, and Kotkhai in Shimla district to facilitate the locals.
