Shoot-At-Sight Order Issued In Delhi, CBSE Exams Postponed As Delhi Violence Continues

As violence in North East Delhi continues to surge, the Delhi Police has issued a shoot at sight order in the area.

The order came hours after Home Minister Amit Shah met Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to discuss the prevailing situation and how to control the same. To ensure the safety of parents, children, teachers and staff, CBSE has also postponed class 10th and 12th board exams in the North East Delhi.

Class 10th English Communicative and English Language & Literature have been postponed and Class 12th Web Application (Old), Web Application (New), and Media exam have been postponed.

Here is the list of the centres where the exam has been postponed:

Internal exams at various centres have also been postponed. Schools have been asked to remain shut and private news channels are asked to be careful with how they cover the riots in Delhi.

Chand Bagh and Bhajanpura in North East Delhi have become an epicenter of the violence. As per the latest reports, as many as 18 have been killed in anti-CAA and pro-CAA clashes. The National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has also been called to review the situation in the capital.
