If you need LPG gas connection immediately then now is the chance for you. ‘Indane’ which is an Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s company has made available a new service for the customers. Service is about to get a new LPG gas connection immediately with the help of Aadhaar. As you all know how essential this document ID is, aadhaar’s importance has boosted up with emerging new rules from the government. Few months ago, IRCTC also announced that if you link your Aadhaar with an IRCTC account then you can book up to 12 tickets in a month. Now as per new rule no other document is required except aadhaar to book LPG gas connection.
Indane’s Official Announcement
The official statement was made through a tweet, it clearly says to show you Aadhaar if you want to get an immediate gas connection. All the other formalities will be done afterwards. Customers can submit their address proof later, so that they can take the benefit of subsidy on a cylinder. Another major change is that if a customer does not have address proof then he can avail the facility through Aadhaar number.

Update Applicable For All Type Of Cylinders
Best thing is that there are no restrictions on the type of cylinders you want to purchase. The scheme and benefits are available for all types of cylinders except commercial one’s. This scheme includes 14.2 kg & 5 kg of single, double or mixed category cylinders. And the same rule goes for FTL means Free Trade Cylinders.
How To Get A LPG Connection?
- Go to you nearest gas agency as usual
- Fill the latest form for a new LPG connection.
- After filling the form attach a copy of your aadhaar and fill your aadhaar number in form.
- You will have to write your address in form with self declaration.
- After a few minutes of these formalities you will receive a new LPG connection immediately.
- But this connection will not get a government subsidy.
- Then, complete the payment process and pay for the cylinder.
- Later submit your address proof when it’s ready.
- After that your non-subsidy connection will be converted to a subsidy connection.
