Aashiqui 2 fame actress Shraddha Kapoor opened up about replacing Katrina Kaif in the upcoming dance flick Street Dancer 3D. The actress would be seen paired opposite her ABCD 2 co-star Varun Dhawan in the movie directed by Remo D’Souza.
On asked about that what she feels like “not being the original choice” for the movie and replacing Katrina Kaif she said these things happen. Shraddha turned down Saina Nehwal’s biopic for the movie after starting the shoot since she couldn’t manage the dates.

Shraddha added that the reason for her picking up the role was that she considers Remo D’sSouza as one of her ‘guru’ and could not turn him down when he offered her role in Street Dancer 3D.
Now, Parineeti is playing the lead role in Nehwal’s biopic and would start shooting from 11th October.
