In the latest report released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as many as 60 hate crimes incidents against Sikhs were reported in the country in 2018. The number makes it the third most targeted religious group in the US only after Jews (835 hate crimes) and Muslims (188).

As many as 7,120 hate crimes were reported to the FBI by law enforcement agencies around the country last year, slightly down from 7,175 in 2017.
