ICICI Bank has now made it super easy for customers to connect their RuPay credit cards to UPI. This means you can smoothly and securely make transactions online and offline, covering everything from shopping to bill payments and POS transactions.

The Bank has teamed up with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to let you use UPI with your RuPay credit cards. Now, it’s easy to link your ICICI Bank Coral RuPay, ICICI Bank HPCL Super Saver RuPay, and ICICI Bank Rubyx RuPay credit cards for smooth transactions.

“Customers can simply scan the merchant QR code and make payments using any UPI payment app, including iMobile Pay,” mentioned livemint.

  • Open the iMobile Pay app on your device.
  • Tap on ‘UPI Payments’ in the app menu.
  • Look for ‘Manage’ and tap on it.
  • In ‘Manage,’ tap on ‘My Profile.’
  • Find ‘Create New UPI ID’ in ‘My Profile’ and tap to proceed.
  • Choose ‘RuPay credit card’ as the payment method.
  • Select the UPI ID you want to link and click ‘Proceed.’
  • Review the transaction details.
  • Confirm the transaction by clicking ‘Confirm.’

Make payments a breeze by scanning the merchant’s QR code with your RuPay credit card through UPI apps. Not only is it easy, but you also earn reward points on your RuPay credit card. Advantages of Linking Your Credit Cards to UPI:

The Convenience:

Linking your credit card with UPI makes it easier for smaller transactions. Typically, credit cards work only at places that accept them. But with UPI, credit cards become more versatile, usable for any transaction that accepts UPI, like online payments and peer-to-peer transfers.

More Rewards:

When you link a credit card with UPI, you earn rewards on every transaction, big or small. This sets it apart from debit cards that usually don’t offer rewards programs.

Enhanced Credit Limit:

Credit cards often allow for larger spending compared to debit cards. So, if you’ve got a credit card linked to UPI, you can make bigger purchases than what a debit card would allow. This comes in handy when you need to buy something significant but don’t quite have enough funds in your bank account.
