The fear of coronavirus is getting high on people. As the deadly virus spreads and the lockdowns are enforced ‘panic’ is also at high. Amidst all this those who are suspect or testing positive of COVID-19 are finding it tough to handle.
In one such unfortunate case, a COVID-19 suspect committed suicide. The incident is reported from Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital. As per reports from ANI, the person named Tanveer Singh committed suicide. Singh was a suspect of COVID-19 and was admitted in the hospital.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West Delhi) Devender Arya confirmed the case. He also informed that Singh came from Australia and was immediately admitted to the hospital. He jumped off the hospital’s building committing suicide.
As per the latest latest update, India so far has recorded 166 cases. The majority of the cases are from Maharashtra. Section 144 is also imposed in Rajasthan and Noida in Uttar Pradesh to prevent COVID-19’s spread.
