Taking Screenshot Of Messages On Messenger! Not Anymore

Meta owned Facebook Messenger will start notifying users if someone takes the screenshot of your chat. Earlier this feature was available if you were having conversation in ‘Vanish Mode’.

Facebook Meta said, “We think it’s important that you are able to use encrypted chats and feel safe, so we want to keep you informed if anyone takes screenshots of your disappearing messages.”

Facebook Messenger now has another cool feature where group messages and calls will be end-to-end encrypted. In a note company said, “Last year, we announced that we began testing end-to-end encryption for group chats, including voice and video calls.” It added, “We’re excited to announce that this feature is available to everyone. Now you can choose to connect with your friends and family in a private and secure way.”

Messenger is also introducing a new array of stickers and GIFs. Meta note said, “To help you level up your chats and express yourself, GIFs and stickers are now available for a more feature rich chat experience in end-to-end encrypted chats.”

There will also be a new feature where if you hold a message for too long it will give an option to forward that message to people or groups. You will also be able to create a new group while forwarding the message.

Introduction of a badge is also in the loop so that you can identify verified accounts to have a meaningful interaction. It is being done to protect users from frauds and spams.
