The electronic car makers Tesla is back with its annual hackers’ competition “Pwn20wn,” which will take place in Vancouver in March. And once again, Tesla has challenged the hackers to find bugs in the systems of its Model 3 vehicle. Tesla has also set aside prize money of Rs. 7-crore and some Model 3 cars for anyone ho can find a bug.
To recall, in March last year, a group of hackers won a Tesla Model 3 and Rs. 2.6 crore for hacking into its systems. In the last edition of the event, hackers had found a bug using which they demonstrated how they could trick a Tesla Model S to enter into the wrong lane. The hackers used a method called “adversarial attack”, to manipulate the same, which is a Machine Learning model.
