The world is all set to change post lockdown and the term ‘change’ also takes into account a change in how we do things. One of the many things that are set to witness a change is how we dine outside. And looks like some countries and already adapting to the same.
The Netherlands has already begun to experiment how the restaurants in the country will operate post lockdown to keep people safe while ensuring their dining experience is top-notch.
A Dutch restaurant has adapted to the idea of social distancing and has created outdoor glass cabins for two or three people. So now, you can go out for a meal and sit in this intimate dining booth.
The Mediamatic ETEN restaurant is testing these booths to ensure they are comfy and safe to be in. The project is being called Serres Separees, or Separate Greenhouses by the organisers.
The organisers, beside the safe environment, are also ensuring the staff adapt to the new space and come up with ways to dop stuff without letting the glass cabin in the vicinity be a hindrance. They have been experimenting with the new ways to empty out the plates in a way that looks professional. And serve food while maintaining safety norms and more.
All this is what we believe you would also have to get habitual to in the post-lockdown world.
