Things PM Narendra Modi Emphasized In Meetings With CM

PM Narendra Modi took a meeting with Chief Ministers to review Covid situation in India. He said that we do not need to panic about any variants of Covid-19 and the best way to fight the infection is vaccination.

This meeting was the first of its kind in 2022.

Today India recorded over 2.47 lakh fresh cases. PM Modi said, “This is the third year of India’s fight against the pandemic. India’s victory is certain.” Prime Minister laid stress on extensive vaccination, local containment and pro-active steps. PM Modi said that people should keep drinking kadha, it is not only a medicine but a tradition that comes from ancient times.

PM Modi said, “Now we have the experience of fighting the pandemic for two years. We must take into account the question of people’s employment before we take any action. So, more focus should be on local containment. We should also ensure that maximum people should get treated in home isolation.”

He also said, “Our preparation should be ahead of all variants of Covid. After we tide over Omicron, we have to make preparation in place to fight other variants of the virus as well. And in this, states will cooperate with each other.”

PM Narendra Modi also discussed about the fake news regarding vaccination. He said that there are several narratives in the market regarding effectiveness of the vaccine. The milestone that India achieved in its vaccination drive has been acknowledged by the world. We must take pride on vaccines that have been developed in India.
