While even the idea of cooking can exhaust many of us, this girl from Kerala can exhaust the hell out of the utensils she cooks in. SN Lakshmi Sai Sri found her name in the UNICO Book of World Records recently after she cooked as many as 46 dishes in mere 58 minutes.
Yes, 58 MINUTES. Tbh, it takes me 10 minutes to make Maggi, which is supposed to be cooked in 2 minutes.
The girl after achieving the feat said “I learned cooking from my mother. I am very happy that I have achieved this milestone,” she told ANI.
The literacy and awareness level of the south Indian state reeks in the fact that how supportive her parents were towards Lakshmi. Her mother claims that Lakshmi started cooking during the lockdown and was doing pretty good at it. Her father, on the other hand, suggested her to try to break the record.
“I cook different traditional cuisine of Tamil Nadu. During the lockdown, my daughter used to spend her time with me in the kitchen. When I was discussing her interest in cooking with my husband, he suggested that she should make an attempt on world record on culinary activity. That’s how we got the idea,” she said.
Though we don’t know what 46 dishes she cooked exactly. But in this video of her cooking, we can surely see dishes like idli, sandwich, fruit chat (maybe) mushroom tikka, uttapam, paneer tikka, some fish related dish, idli, dosa, chicken roast, and appam.
The last record was held by a 10-year-old girl named Saanvi, also from Kerala, who cooked 30 dishes in an hour.
