Stuck in a traffic jam or waiting for that red light to turn green, things can get boring as hell. And all you can do for time pass is to think about the most trivial details of your life.
Sometimes these thoughts even give you e a glimpse of the future. For example, when I was stuck at the red light yesterday, I knew I was late and I won’t be able to complete the latest season of my fav Netflix series.
Also, I think this is the only ‘me time‘ I can find in my entire day and possibly the same goes for you too.
Here are some red light thoughts that me, you and everyone gets. (Or at least that’s what my hilarious imagination believes)
Yeah, I know you are cursing your boss to your heart’s content with each traffic light that turns red as soon as you reach it.
There, that’s when you remember that you had promised you will take her to the parlor this evening. And now you know, what’s going to happen.
Poor Tommy will suffer because now, you are surely not going to take him for a walk. And he will have to wait until tomorrow morning for meeting his Pomerian love.
Oh, the most crucial thing you have to think of when you live alone. What veggies are you left with, and what can you cook in 3o seconds, because you know you are tired AF.
When you get stuck on a red light, you calculate other’s timeline. Why? Because you already know you have messed up yours pretty royally by being stuck here.
It’s on the glorious red light that you remember mom’s text that you had to take dhaniya from the market you just crossed. Ring a bell?
You have to manage it all alone here. And to remember, if milk is out of stock in your fridge, is something you do perfectly on a red light.
When you reach home and find that you are out of cigarettes, you couldn’t curse yourself more. So, this thought is bound to cross your mind.
You never want to get stuck on the road with an empty car tank. So, you keep a check on the level of oil and any nearby petrol pump. Always.
When you waste 10 min on a red light, you can’t help it. All of a sudden you remember that friend, who lives just near the area and you think, why not meet him?
Oh, the blessed souls who live with their mom’s. All you keep dreaming is about the delicacy that your mum made while you go home. Even on red lights.
