Lip-syncing video platform TikTok has announced a ban on all sorts of political ads citing that they don’t fit the “experience” it aims to provide to its users. As per TikTok, it won’t allow “paid ads that promote or oppose a candidate, current leader, political party or group, or issue at the federal, state, or local level – including election-related ads, advocacy ads, or issue ads.”

The move comes after TikTok was recently accused of political censorship.
