TikTok Finally Suspends Account Of Popular TikToker ‘Faizal’ Who Glorified Acid Attack

With #tiktokbanindia still trending for 3rd straight day, the app finally took an action from its side. No, it’s nothing to do with the YouTube vs TikTok debate rather the other side of ban TikTok call that we discussed yesterday. The creators on the platform where seen glorifying rape, violence on the animal, religious conversion, etc through their videos.

One of the popular creators on the platform Faizal Siddiqui’s account has been suspended by TikTok. The creator was seen glorifying acid attack through his videos. Faizal had over 13 million followers on the platform. The action comes after the National Commission for Women  (NCW) registered a complaint with TikTok.

Real-life acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal whose life was a subject of Deepika Padukone starter movie Chhapaak also lashed at Faizal. The point of the suspension of the account is that wrong message is not propagated through such platforms. TikTok said that the account was banned due to multiple community guidelines violations.
