On Saturday, ‘Neeraj Chopra’ clinched a gold medal with a stunning throw of 87.5m in the men’s javelin through the final. With the win, Neeraj Chopra became only the second Indian to win an individual gold in the Olympics, after Abhinav Bindra.

After Neeraj won the first gold medal for India, Indian celebrities took social media to congratulate and celebrate the historic moment.
