Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced Rs 20 lakh crores relief package for India to help its ailing sectors grow. In his speech, he also said that the amount allotted is 10% of India’s GDP.

Now if we go by facts, the size of India’s financial package is estimated to be $266 billion. Now when compared, it is only $18 billion less than Pakistan’s GDP, which is estimated to be $284 billion, according to World Bank.

How the country will spend the economic package will be revealed today at 4 PM by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
