This would be the first time that a Thackrey family member would become the CM of Maharashtra. Also, it would be the first time in the past 20 years that Shiv Sena would have its CM in Maharashtra.
Uddhav is expected to have only one Deputy Cheif Minister which is more likely to come from the NCP. The speaker would be from Congress while the deputy speaker post would be given to NCP.
Only two or three MLAs would be sworn in along with Uddhav on Thursday. The Shivaji Park is all set to host a crowd of around 70, 000 people with deployment of 2,000 policemen for the event. The ceremony would take place on 6:40 PM on Wednesday.
