Attending the ASSOCHAM’s (Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India) annual conference in Delhi on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that $ 5 Trillion economy doesn’t come all of a sudden.
PM Modi was responding to the criticism his government is facing after it announced in this year’s budget that India would become a $ 5 Trillion economy in the times to come. The PM further said that the country has strengthened itself in the last 5 years to achieve the goal.

The $ 5 Trillion economy vision came under the hammer when the condition of India’s economy started to deteriorate. The recently released data showed the slowest GDP growth rate in the past 6 years.
