Here are what the state government has planned for the workers:

  • Social security, insurance, and training with internship allowance to be provided by Kamgar/Shramik Kalyan Aayog.
  • Skill-mapping of around 16 lakh migrant workers who have returned (done so far). This is done to boost their prospect to be employed in the MSMEs in the state.
  • Arrangements have been made to bring back around 21.17 lakh migrant workers to the state in 1,454 special trains.

The state has already segregated the skill mapping data of the workers who registered on the portal.
