Anger is an emotion that overtakes your thinking and sensibility. What it also does is sometimes leaves you confused and baffled. A similar thing has happened with the BJP supporters in Kolkata. Much like the whole nation, these people were also angered by the act of China on LAC. However, they bursted out their anger on the wrong person and the wrong country.
The video of BJP workers from Asansol in West Bengal is going viral. In the video, one of the party workers says that they are protesting against Kim Jong-un. He also refers to the North Korean dictator as the Prime Minister (No official such post in China) of China.
The BJP workers confused the Chinese President Xi Jinping with the North Korean leader. Organizing a boycott of Chinese products the workers said that they are burning the effigy of China’s Pradhan Mantri Kim Jong Un. This misplaced anger gathered varied responses on social media.
