China, the other day, woke up to an amazing natural phenomenon wherein the citizens got to see an epic display of “five suns” in the sky. The video, which was shot in the province in Inner Mongolia, has left the netizens guessing.

The video was shared by a media company in China on their twitter account with the caption: “What a spectacular wonder! Five suns are seen shining in the sky in N. China’s Inner Mongolia.”
Nevertheless, it is pretty understandable that in no way the world can experience five suns. So the practical explanation to the same is found in a report by Daily Mail.
As per the report, the phenomenon, which is also called ‘sundog’ or ‘phantom sun’ occurs due to the small pocket of ice suspended in the air. The optical illusion requires a temperate below -25 degrees celsius.

The crystals of ice, though can’t be seen with naked eyes, has this power to reflect the rays making them look like five brightly burning suns.
