Finally Virat Kohli Realizes DHONI Is The Captain Fit For Indian Cricket Team, Quits Captaincy

Although Dhoni stepped down from his Indian cricket team captaincy long back, he might soon get back on the throne. For the upcoming World Cup, Dhoni is going to be back as the captain of Indian Cricket team.

Virat Kohli (current captain of Indian team) has asked M.S. Dhoni to be the captain for one last time and help the team to win the trophy. The reason is simple, Kholi thinks he is out of luck, which seems to be true.

Currently, India and other countries are busy enjoying IPL 2019. But the Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli seems to be having a pretty unforgettable run with Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2019.

Why Viral Kohli quits captaincy?

The team has been already suffered three consecutive defeats this season. And mind you the season is just started. First, his team lost against Chennai Super Kings in their opening fixture. after that RCB get defeated in the subsequent match against Mumbai Indians.

But that was not it. Recently, the team lost its third match against Sun Risers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. And because of this ignominious behavior, Kohli decided to hand over the captaincy back to M.S. Dhoni.

Everyone is a Dhoni fan. After all, under his captaincy, Indian Cricket Team was able to make history. Kholi knows that too well and he also knows that he is out of luck.

What did he say?

Virat Kohli

That’s why after suffering 3 defeat in IPL 2019, Kohli decided not to continue as Indian captain. “I do not want to continue as the captain of India at the moment. I believe MS Dhoni is better placed to lead the team in the World Cup. It is a big tournament and comes once in four years. We want to win the World Cup and I believe we have the team to win it,” Kohli said.

M.S. Dhoni is a game player, he knows his team, he knows the game. Kholi knows that he might be lacking some on the necessary skills to be a captain.

That’s why he said, “I may have read the pitch wrong against SRH as I thought it would play slow in the first half but Warner and Bairstow took the game away from us. We did not bat well and we have not batted well in the tournament overall. I need time to think about my batting too as I have not scored runs. As captain, I lost the series against Australia too. Hence I feel MSD should lead the team as I want to do what is best for my country.”

In Conclusion:

When it comes to luck, somewhere deep inside, we all believe M.S. Dhoni is a lucky guy. But, luck is not the only thing that helped him to become the most loving (respected) captain of the team ever.

It would be good news for the Indian team if Dhoni decided to lead them in the upcoming WorldCup.
Welcome back, Captain Dhoni!
