To link Voter ID with Aadhaar has become mandatory now, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has exclusively launched a drive where it will ensure the smooth completion of Voter ID and Aadhaar linking process.

As per the Election Commission of India ECI, the Voter ID and Aadhaar linking will help the government to fix the gaps in the electoral system. The linking process will provide a unique authentication to the electors and will help the ECI to eradicate duplicate records in the electoral roll.
For this process to get complete smoothly the ECI has set up camps in the different parts of the country where people can visit and learn about this linking process in the simplest way. Moreover, the process is also available online, users can link both their IDs with simple steps. Voters will just have to fill and submit form 6B with all the necessary documents.
Users can visit National Voters’ Services Portal which is an official website nvsp.in. This portal provides all the details regarding the Voter ID and Aadhaar linking drive of ECI.

Here Are The Simple Steps To Link Voter ID With Aadhaar:
- First, visit the official website of the National Voters Service Portal (NVSP). Nvsp.in
- Login into the portal with your credentials and find the “Search in Electoral Roll” option on the homepage.
- Enter your details to find your voter id.
- The left side will show the ‘Feed Aadhar No’ option, click on it.
- On the next page your aadhaar details will be asked, so fill it out.
- After that to complete the process verify it with an OTP that you will receive on your registered mobile number.
- The last step is to click on submit and authenticate after that your linking process will be completed.
