Watch: Amidst Lockdown, Pink Flamingos Flood Water In Navi Mumbai

With humans locked inside their homes, incidents of animals taking over the streets have become a new; new. From mountain goats coming down from the mountains to the streets to snow leopard doing rounds in Uttrakhand, over the weeks, we have seen a lot.

And now, there is one more delighting incident of birds taking over the latkes to delight your weekend. Recently in Navi Mumbai, flamingos put on quite a show for the residents of Seawoods.

Residents from Seawoods recently shared videos of Flamingos enjoying their time in the lake and it is so peaceful to watch. Have a look:

Sunil Agarwal, who is also an resident, shot the video and wrote, ‘With the full moon comes higher high tide which brings in more water and which attracts even more #Flamingos. The Talawe Wetlands & TS Chanakya Wetlands are part of this intertidal zone and not some man made water body. Please ask CIDCO & Urban development department to declare this area as Flamingo Sanctuary at the earliest as was discussed by us in January 2020 meeting’.
