After all the struggles we have been through this year, we now finally have something good to savour.
Though IPL 2020 is special for most of us, it, on the other hand, is even more special for the man in yellow – Mahendra Singh Dhoni. MS today would be playing his first match since that frightful 2019 World Cup semi-final and surely lot has changed ever since.
The most important thing to change is the fact that Dhoni no more carries the weight of the Indian Cricket team on his shoulders. After calling his retirement on 15 August 2020, Dhoni would surely be excited to return to the field donning a new him.
Dhoni won’t carry the pressure of selection that he must have had as a newbie. Further, he won’t carry the pressure of taking India home in the last overs of the game. And of course, Dhoni will no more carry the tremendous pressure that comes when you lead the Indian cricket team.
