Western Railways Hires ‘Yamraj’ To Stop People From Trespassing On Railway Tracks

Have you been trespassing on railway lines lately? Be aware for now you are under Yamraj’s scrutiny eye.

In a creative move, the western railway has sought a new way to keep people off from walking on the railway tracks. The railways has literally hired ‘Yamraj’ to carry the people, he sees, crossing the railway tracks; away from the same.

In their tweet by the western railway in Hindi, Western Railway explains that this Yamraj keeps a lookout and saves people’s lives. “In order to make people aware of the dangers of walking across tracks @rpfwrbct, as part of the new campaign, is encouraging passengers to use the bridge or subway,” says the tweet.

The man in the pictures dressed as Yamraj is a member of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) who stops people from crossing the railway tracks.

The idea by the western railway was surely applauded by people across social media as the god of death was inundated with praises by the netizens.

“Good idea…. make this idea or awareness to all India railway station…..it will avoid trespassing accident in India!!!,” a user of social media wrote.
