WhatsApp Message Reactions Feature; Users Can Now React To Messages

WhatsApp has been working to introduce a lot of new features. However, the newest feature spotted is WhatsApp Message Reactions – a change in the way you converse on the app. According to reports, WhatsApp is actively working on message reactions. This feature is quite similar to Instagram message reactions. With the help of this feature, users can react to messages. You can add an emoji to a message to express your feeling about it. Messaging platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and iMessage are already using reactions features.

As per Wabetinfo, this feature is spotted on the beta tests. The users were asked to update their version of WhatsApp beta to see the message reaction. Wabetainfo report states that “Today we can finally announce one of the first messaging features that’s coming on WhatsApp: reactions! You already know what is a reaction: it’s usually an emoji that you can place on a message to express emotions. Instagram, Twitter, iMessage already support message reactions and today we can start to discover the progress of their development.”

The feature is spotted on WhatsApp beta only for Android. Don’t’ worry, the report says that the feature will release for Android as well as iOS users. WhatsApp is now working on a message to let users know that they are using an outdated version of WhatsApp which does not allow message reactions. Therefore, users using an outdated version of WhatsApp can’t see the reactions that have been sent to them but will be notified by WhatsApp about the reactions they have received on their messages.

Apart from this, WhatsApp is a plan to introduce a new shortcut to quickly send payments. Earlier, the company has introduced features like View Once, send payments through chat action, and more. The Wabetainfo reveals that the feature is under development, which can be accessed by beta testers. WhatsApp is yet to make an official announcement about the feature.
