Woman Beheaded In France Days After A Teacher Was Killed The Same Way By Islamic Terrorist

The situation in France has been on a boil ever since a school teacher was beheaded for showing a cartoon of Prophet Muhammad last week at a school and the fuel to the tension was added on Thursday when a woman was beheaded by an attacker with a knife, who also killed two other people, at a church in the French city of Nice.

Mayor Christian Estrosi said on Twitter that the knife attack has had happened in or near the city’s Notre Dame church and that police had detained the attacker. Notre Dame is notably the most popular Chruch in France.

As of now, there are several journalists and police officers on the spot who have put up a security cordon around the church.

The whole incident, to what we believe, comes in retaliation to the recent developments that have taken in Frnace.

Notably, all started after a teacher in France was recently killed for showing a cartoon of Prophet Mohammad in the classroom after which the French President Emmanuel Macron pledged to fight “Islamist separatism”.

Following the cruel incident over a mere cartoon, Macron, condemning the brutal attack, said that “France will not give up cartoons”. He also said that Samuel Paty was“killed because Islamists want our future”.

The comment, as it went viral, irked the Muslim community across the world as they called out France for promoting islamophobia, as well as pledged to boycott French products.

Even Pakistan and Turkey’s top leaders also accused Macron of promoting Islamophobia and questioned his sanity for promoting a drive against Islamic extremism.

In reply to these chants of boycotts, Charlie Hebdo, a French magazine, yet again released another cartoon mocking Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Later, Erdoğan commended the cartoon and vowed to take stringent action against France. Other Muslim countries also joined Turkey to protest against France and the latest attack could be something in relation to this whole intolerant atmosphere in the Muslim world out there.

Meanwhile, the European Union and even India have been supporting Frnace and leader Macron in his fight against terrorism and all the latest developments.
