A fruit seller in Indore recently grabbed all the eyeballs for her protest on the streets of Indore in fluent English. The lady claims that she had completed a Ph.D. (Doctor Of Philosophy) in Material Science from Indore’s Devi Ahilya University before starting the business.
She was protesting against the government and authorities for imposing lockdown restrictions again and again. The lady says that the restrictions have left fruit and vegetable sellers penniless. She also lashes on the authorities for their incompetence in dealing with coronavirus.
The woman identified as Raeesa Ansar says, “at times, one side of the market is closed and on others, the second one is shut by the administration and there are hardly any buyers. What we are supposed to feed our families”.
She goes on to add that she is upset with the district collector, municipal corporation and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not being able to take steps to curb the virus spread.
Like woman, if you gather a crowd like this and speak without wearing a mask, not even God will be able to save the country from the virus.
When asked about her qualification, Raeesa says she has done Master of Science in Physics and completed Ph.D. in Material Science from Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya in the year 2011.
She adds she couldn’t secure a better job so she continued as a fruit seller.
“The first question is who will give the job to me. The perception that coronavirus is being generated from Muslims has become common now. Because my name is Raeesa Ansari, no college or research institution is willing to give me a job,” she told News 18.
