WTC Final: New Zealand Skipper Kane Williamson Says Playing with India Is Exciting and A Fantastic Challenge

World Test Championship is ahead. The WTC final is going to be played between India and New Zealand. Before the final, the NZ captain Kane Williamson is excited to lead his team in the inaugural final of the World Test Championship against India.

You must know that New Zealand was the first team to qualify in the ICC World Test Championship final while India with 12 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw books a slot in the WTC so far. 

Taking on Twitter, Williamson said in a video that “I think we saw the context of the Test Championship. It brought in real excitement. We saw that in declarations, games getting tight. Saw it in the India-Australia series, our series here against Pakistan with results had to be hard-fought for and you are willing to risk it.”

He additionally said that playing against the Indian team is always a fantastic challenge. It is really exciting to be a part of the WTC final, obviously winning it would be that much better. Whenever you play against the Virat Kolhi-led Indian team, it is an exciting and fantastic challenge. 

The New Zealand team has arrived in Southampton yesterday. The Indian team is expected to depart for the UK on June 2 after assembling in Mumbai.
