It’s 2021 and let’s get things back to normal.
The technical captivity the world was subjected to in 2020 barred us from many things including entertainment, entertainment and entertainment. Owing to the pandemic, the release of most movies, especially the ones with superheroes, was postponed and even superheroes couldn’t prevent that from happening. Hawww!!
But 2021, we believe, would be different. And so would be the entrainment in 2021 as the year is all set for some big superhero movies releases and here are 10 of them.
1. Morbius (March 19)
The plot is so cliched as it has Jared Leto in the lead trying to cure a blood disease, which eventually goes wrong and turns him into a vampire. However, there is still a lot to unveil and we are hoping it would be fun.
2. Black Widow (May 7)

Though we lost her in Avengers: Endgame, but there is still a lot that we need to know about Black Widow and her past adventures. With that in mind, Marvel in 2021 will unveil the origin story of Black Widow before she became an avenger and worked as a Russian spy.
3. Venom: Let There Be Carnage (June 25)
Tom Hardy is all set to be back with the sequel of Venom and it would be fun to see who controls whom this time round.
4. Samaritan (June 4)
As per Wikipedia, the plot of the movie has a young boy who comes to the realization that a famed superhero, who had gone missing after an epic battle twenty years ago, may in fact still be around.
5. Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings (July 9)
The film stars Simu Liu in the lead and is one of the most anticipated movies of 2021. The American superhero film is based on the Marvel Comics character Shang-Chi. The movie also stars Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina.
6. The Suicide Squad (Aug 6)
The plot of the R-rated upcoming action movie, The Suicide Squad, is still unknown. However, this James Gunn film isn’t a sequel to the 2016 film, and neither it is a reboot.
7. Eternals (Nov 5)
Other than the cast, we know nothing about the movie Eternals and trust us we aren’t complaining. It’s the beginning of the year mate, let’s peel one mystery at a time and not rush through the fun. But as far as the cast of the movie is concerned, the film would star Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington and Selma Hayek.
8. Spider-Man 3 (Dec 17)
After much debate between Disney subsidiary Marvel Studios, Sony Pictures and maybe Peter Parker, the movie is finally happening.
9. Black Adam (No date announced yet)
Though there is not much detail to spill, all we know is that the movie is a long-pending project to star Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam. Thankfully, it is finally happening as the movie is scheduled for Dec 2021 release.
10. Justice League (No date announced yet)
