10-Year-Old Casually Enters Bank & Steals Rs 10 Lakh, All In 30 Seconds

Yes, the headline might surprise you, but isn’t it 2020? So you better prepare yourself to believe everything that’s weird.

In a bizarre and unbelievable incident of money heist, a 10-year-old casually walked into a bank in Madhya Pradesh and walked out with Rs 10 lakhs in his hand, during the rush hours.

The incident was reported in the Jawad area of MP’s Neemuch district. And all of it was recorded in the CCTV camera of the bank.

When one looks into the CCTV footage, it shows the boy, who is barely as tall as the desk at the bank, sweep two bundles of money. He swiftly drops them from the table to his bag and flees the counter.

However, someone noticed the same when he was exiting the bank but it was too late by then. He ran away with a man waiting outside the bank before anyone could stop him.

Police say that the man waiting for the boy outside the bank could be the mastermind of the plan and may have prompted the child to commit the crime.

“The boy fled with two bundles of Rs 500 notes. He could be around 10-12 years old. We could not see his face and he was wearing a mask. An investigation is on,” RP Mishra, Sub Inspector Jawad said.

“Several suspects have been detained. Some people who have roadside stalls in the area have been called in for questioning. The private security guard is also being interrogated,” Mishra added.
