The 14th Instalment of PM-Kisan Yojana is to be credited soon. The wait for the beneficiary farmers is going to be over. The instalment is supposed to be released between April to June 2023, and the exact release date will be announced by the Government soon. The last instalment was credited on February 26, 2023, to all the beneficiaries. This Central Government support scheme benefits the farmers by providing them with financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually.
PM-Kisan Yojana, The Financial Assistance to Farmers
Under PM-Kisan Yojana every farmer in India is eligible to get annual financial assistance of ₹6,000 in three quarterly released instalments of ₹2,000 each. The payment is made directly to the bank accounts of farmers and there is no mediator in between. So far, under the PM-Kisan Yojana, the Government has released 13 instalments benefitting more than 8 million eligible farmers.
“Three payments are made to the beneficiaries during a year. Between April and July, the first instalment is approved, while the second is between August and November, and the third is between December and March. All recipients of the PM Kisan Yojna are required to complete eKYC. Individuals can complete the eKYC on the PM-KISAN Portal using an OTP-based mechanism, according to the information available on the official website. As an alternative, they can use a biometric-based way to complete the process by going to the closest CSC centre,” News18.

How to Check the Status of Your PM-Kisan Instalments?
- `First, visit the official website of PM-Kisan.
- On the homepage click on ‘Farmer Corner’.
- Now, under the ‘Farmers section,’ you can select the ‘Beneficiary Status’ link.
- You will see a drop-down menu and will have to select your applicable state, district block, village, etc.
- Finally, select ‘Get Report’ to see your instalment status.
