- 1 cup dry Lobia or black-eyed beans
- 1 medium tomato finely chopped
- 1 cucumber finely chopped
- 1 ripe mango
- 50g chopped cottage cheese
- ¼ cup roasted and coarsely chopped peanuts
- Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper powder
- ¼ tsp roasted cumin powder
- ¼ tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp honey
The process to Make Recipe
Firstly, you must soak lobia or the black-eyed beans for 4-6 hours or overnight. Then, pressure-cook it by adding salt for 2-3 whistles. Keep a decent amount of water. The water should not exceed 1-1/2 cups. Now, add the cooled and drained lobia followed by tomato, chopped, mango, cucumber, and cottage cheese in a large mixing bowl. Mix them well and sprinkle fresh coriander and coarsely ground peanuts.
