Taking the cases of COVID-19 in the country one up Bollywood singer ‘Kanika Kapoor’ tested positive. The ‘Baby Doll‘ singer is involved in severe negligence of her responsibility. The singer came to India from London on 9th March and had sore throat and flu.
She refrained from informing authorities about her travel history and escaped checks at the airport. Further, she threw a lavish party at a 5-star hotel in Lucknow. The party was attended by Bureaucrats, politicians, and socialites among others. The party was organized on 15th March. Son of former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje was also in attendance at the party.
Adding to the worry was that she attended 3 parties after her arrival. She came in contact with around 350-400 people in three parties. The apartment in which Kanika stays would also be sanitized said the authorities. However, the officials are not sure how to go about the sanitization. The singer is admitted at the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) hospital in Lucknow. So, far has reported over 190 cases and 5 deaths (1 Italian tourist) due to virus.

The singer also shared a message on Instagram to provide updates about her health. She said that her family apart from her is also quarantined. The singer also said that she had signs of flu from the past 4 days.
“At this stage, I would like to urge you all to practice self-isolation and get tested if you have the signs”, she wrote in her message on Instagram.
