In yet another marvelous display of its world-renowned capabilities, China has finished the construction of 25,000-square-metre 1,000 bedded hospital, to treat coronavirus infected patients, in just 10 days.

The hospital dubbed as “Fire God Mountain” will be reined by the Chinese Army and starts operation from today. To note, coronavirus, which originated from the Wuhan province in China, has killed over 360 people in China till now. Globally, as many as 17,000 have been infected due to coronavirus.
As far as India is concerned, two people in Kerala have been reported positive of the Novel Coronavirus with several kept under observation.
The staff at the hospital involved in the treatment of coronavirus holds experience in having treated patients who were affected by SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), which killed some 650 people in mainland China and Hong Kong in 2002-2003.
Moreover, this is not the only hospital being built. The second field hospital, named “Thunder God Mountain”, is being set up with 1,600 beds capacity and will begin admitting patients on Thursday.

Novel coronavirus was declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organization last week.
