As the tensions between India and China are on a boil like Doklam the Chinese President has called for action. Xi Jinping who is already facing the heat of the world for hiding the COVID-19 pandemic is looking to threaten India. Xi has asked his forces to scale up preparedness for armed combat and improve its ability to carry out military tasks.
In a televised address the dragon nation President said that “coronavirus pandemic is having a profound impact on national security“. He also said the military to think about worst-case scenarios. Twice in the 22 days the Indian and Chinese soldiers have had a face-off in the Ladakh region.
The remarks were made by the Chinese President during his annual meeting with the People’s Liberation Army’s representatives. China has started to beef up its strength on the Ladakh border aka Line of Action (LAC). India is responding well to this by scaling up its manpower.
The situation has scaled as a result of the construction of a road by India between Durbuk and Daulat Beg Oldi in the eastern Ladakh region. The border tension is being seen as India’s worse since 1999 Kargil. Meanwhile, PM Modi held talks with NSA and Chief of defense staff on the matter. Both India and China are exploring diplomatic ways to resolve things in spite of the aggression.
