The Chief Minister (CM) of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has isolated himself after developing symptoms of COVID-19. The CM has been experiencing fever since Sunday along with a sore throat. To clear any doubts about he would undergo for a test tomorrow.
Kejriwal has canceled all his meetings since Sunday afternoon and has also isolated himself since yesterday. He last attended a media briefing online yesterday. Yesterday morning he announced that the Delhi government’s and private hospitals would exclusively be for residents of Delhi during the pandemic.
He also announced that the borders with neighboring states would be opened. This came after his decision to close borders for 1 week. The Delhi so far has recorded 28,936 cases with 812 deaths. It is predicted that Delhi would reach 1 lakh cases by the end of June.

Meanwhile, India maintained a 5th straight day-case listing of over 9,000 daily cases. This has now put India 5th on the global cases chart with over 2.5 lakh cases. India is exponentially rising towards its COVID-19 peak since last week.
