For Indian people, the Aadhaar card has become a necessary document. Many important tasks of people are halted if the aadhaar card is misplaced. To address this issue, the Unique Identification Authority of India, which issues Aadhaar cards, has enabled people to obtain their PVC Aadhaar cards online for a fee of Rs. 50.

PVC Aadhaar cards are constructed of Polyvinyl Chloride and include a secure QR code, hologram, name, picture, date of birth, and other information. Ordering a PVC Aadhaar card is straightforward and may be done by visiting UIDAI’s official website.

Steps for ordering your PVC aadhaar card online

Go to the official webpage of the aadhaar card (UIDAI).
Select the My Aadhaar option.
Click on Order Aadhaar PVC Card.
Input your 12-digit Aadhaar number with the security code.
The registered mobile number will receive a one-time password (OTP), which has to be entered on the website.
A preview of the PVC Aadhaar card will be presented, and an Rs.50 payment must be paid using net banking, credit, or debit card.
The PVC card will be mailed to the applicant’s home address through priority mail.

A person can also apply for a PVC Aadhaar card offline; simply go to their nearest Aadhaar center, fill out a form, and pay Rs. 50. Their PVC Aadhaar card will be offered to their home address within five to six days.
