If you have been feasting on the news lately, you must be aware that Elon Musk and his partner Grimes recently had a baby together. And I don’t know what was in their head when they named him X Æ A-12 Musk. Or maybe we know.
Musk giving his child that unique name sparked a lot of reactions among people. And these reactions were expressed in the form of memes.

In between all this, Musk also went on to share a picture of his son. And trust me it looks adorable.
Coming back to the name, turns out that the name carries a special meaning for the couple, as the mother of the child, Grimes explained on Twitter.
Grimes took on Twitter to explain the name and it goes something like this.
X’ stands for “the unknown variable, ‘AE’ is the musician’s ‘elven spelling of Ai (love &/or artificial intelligence),’ ‘A-12’ is, as gathered, a reference to the Lockheed A-12, the ‘precursor to [the] SR-17 (our favourite aircraft). No weapons, no defences, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent.

So firstly I thought it’s kind of code word for a name that would be revealed later. But now looks like it is the name itself. I wonder that might piss off the child when he grows up.
