India Evacuates Another 112 From Coronavirus Hit Wuhan Including Citizens Of 7 Countries

As the coronavirus is taken a deadly face killing over 2, 700 people India is taking all steps to get its citizens out of Wuhan. This time the evacuation mission bought with citizens of 7 other nations along with the Indians.

Special flights of Indian Air Force arrived in Delhi on Thursday morning that left on Wednesday. 112 people were evacuated from the epicenter of the outbreak Wuhan which had 36 foreigners. Yesterday the Airforce’s C17 transport aircraft left for China with 15 tonnes of medical supplies.

The flight that landed in Delhi on Thursday morning had 76 Indians & 36 nationals from 7 countries – Bangladesh, Myanmar, Maldives, China, South Africa, USA and Madagascar on board.

Earlier India evacuated over 600 people including citizens from the Maldives in two Air India flights that took to Wuhan earlier this month. All the evacuees will undergo a 14-day quarantine at a medical facility set-up by the Indian Army in Manesar.

In another evacuation mission,119 Indians and five foreigners who were on board quarantined cruise ship docked off Yokohama in Japan were bought to India. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar tweeted about the mission.
